Nzatu is RSF new founding member

Parma, 29 February 2024

RSF welcomes its new founder Nzatu. Founded in Zambia by sisters Gwen and Denis Jones in 2022, NZATU – meaning “ours” in the Zambian language – promotes regenerative agriculture in harmony with nature in Africa. Its goal is to achieve both social and environmental impacts: in thousands of small farming communities, it creates a sustainable and long-lasting economy by connecting communities to international markets, protecting wildlife and biodiversity by working closely with expert conservation organizations, and adopting climate change mitigation strategies through intercropping and re-forestation.

“I believe strongly in “joining forces”, comments Michele Sofisti – Nzatu CEO -, the global issues that we must face to guarantee a future for humanity are too big to be confronted in an isolated, individual way. We must join forces with private sector and NGO’s, the public sector, law makers and in general all individuals, companies and organizations which share the same vision, to regenerate, protect, and respect the planet. RSF is a very important actor in this effort with research, projects, and investments. With Nzatu we aim to be an active part, be supported, and support the Foundation in all its projects and strategies
