RSF white paper on well-being is out

Parma, 15 January 2025

The Regenerative Society Foundation has published its first white paper on well-being.

In the last half-century the definition of well-being has been rapidly changing, going beyond the oversimplified relation well-being equals health, and starting to take into account more dimensions, such as one’s satisfaction with his/her life, social networks, the work environment, etc.

Proposing RSF unique take on well-being, seen as both (good) health and happiness, the paper offers a comprehensive view of the current measuring standards, with an eye on measuring well-being in a company or in a project through RSF regenerative framework.

“The concepts of happiness and well-being are philosophical in nature and closely related to everyone’s personal definition of what a “good life” is. It is therefore extremely difficult to define them, and this is especially true when attempting to provide a universally accepted definition, as cultural components are central in determining what a person perceives as well-being.”
