Addressing the threat of climate change requires an “unprecedented level of global collaboration” among state and non-state actors. All businesses have a responsibility, as well as an opportunity, when it comes to protecting nature and the planet’s climate. This is what the Regenerative Foundation stands for.
RSF described how the Foundation and its members strive to live up to their commitments. An array of projects was presented, showing how RSF companies work to nature-proof their strategies and operating models, to create viable pathways towards diverse regenerative economics.
The panel focused on collaboration across borders, industry sectors, and innovation. Only a mix of future-proof technology solutions and traditional nature-based practices, private sector engagement and global governance can bridge the gap to achieving the Paris Agreement targets.
